Gull Point Campground offers a great camping experience with spacious and clean sites, friendly camp hosts, and beautiful scenery, including deer sightings. Many visitors appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and well-maintained facilities, including bathrooms and trash management. Beautiful campground but probably won't be back. They have ruined the fishing here and that is the reason many come here to camp.

Signage has deteriorated-laying on ground due to years of neglect. Dogs on leash sign so old it is laying on ground due to rotting over several years of non maintenance. Signage missing to boat ramps lead to large numbers of boaters driving into campground lanes seeking boat launches. Cut trees from early-season cut downs left on ground littering many camp sites. Overall attention to physical site is obviously missing by Campground management headquarters-worst we have seen in our 18 yearly visits to date. Apparently USFS oversight of commercial management is negligent and needs congressional review.

The campground is well maintained. The weather can be quite interesting so you need to be prepared for rain. It rained buckets this last trip, glad we were in a motorhome and not a tent. Cold at night this time of year but always have a good time.

Our first camping trip as a family. 1) The directions need to be updated! Take burgess Road off of highway 97 at Wickiup Junction (Road 43 didn't have any signs at all). 2) The campground has picnic tables and a fire pit, which would have been nice to find somewhere on the website. 3). We had an AMAZING time! Great weather, great location. We had GRP53 June 2021. Hot during the day, cold at night. We will go back for sure!
