It’s a beautiful campground. Large sites, plenty of room between spaces. Very clean. Lovely

Every year this campground gets less user friendly. The water was not turned on until late and the fish cleaning station was never opened this year. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful, but whoever makes the decisions about services to the campground needs to up their game.

2022 is a good year for Lava Lake. Lake is beautiful and off season clearing of campsites and grounds was very nice. Camp Host is keeping vault toilets and areas in top shape.
Expect mosquitos because of late season snow and spring rain.
This is good campground.
