Reviewers appreciate the cleanliness of the restrooms and the accommodating campground hosts. Had a neighbor that was not considerate about quiet at nights or running their mini bikes around the campground.
Also, mosquitos were vicious this year.

CAMP HOSTS WERE GREAT, TAKING REALLY GOOD CARE OF SITES AFTER CHECKOUT.
SOME CAMPERS WERE EXCESSIVELY LOUD LATE INTO THE NIGHT (AFTER MIDNIGHT), BUT THAT IS TO BE EXPECTED AT ANY CAMPGROUND.

We had a wonderful four night stay at Lava Lake. It’s one of our favorite places to kayak, when the toxic algae is not blooming. The campground was quiet and the bathrooms were clean.

Campsite was well maintained and clean. Beautiful lake and view of the mountain. Mosquitoes are very heavy this year. Camp Host was nonexistent. Never said hi or was seen around the campsite unless checking the bathrooms. The last night, before I went home a day early, a neighboring site had loud (yelling and screaming) and drunk campers until 1am, I went to the host who did not wake up over multiple attempts and ended up confronting the campers myself. Before that I had asked them to quiet down multiple times which had no effect.
