The campground is OK, lots of space between sites. The bathrooms were kept very clean and the camp host was friendly. There are great hikes within a fairly short distance. However it is a favorite of locals who come up to recreate so can get crowded both in the campground and across the reservoir in the day use area. Lots of jet skis and fishing and/or ski boats on the water. It gets noisy. Not the place to go if you like quiet but overall a nice place to camp.

We spent shy of a week at this wonderful location. More noise than we wanted from the Lookout campground, but we had such a great time and our camp host Leslie was absolutely 💯 the best. Great area and would highly recommend. Just be ready for the bugs and algae.

Leslie was a top-notch camp host. I came up before and stayed after the Cascade Volunteer Skills College. I look forward to seeing Leslie next year and exploring the area in and beyond the camp site. Thank you to Land & Leisure for generously allowing all the volunteers to enjoy Mona and Lookout. The view from Mona #4 was beautiful and the path down to the water was easy I didn't spill my coffee once!

We ended up not staying as it was during a very high temperature couple of days and the water in the lake was too low to enjoy. Why was it let out so early this year.

We stayed in spot #4 and it’s for sure the best spot there. It’s our second time staying there. I love that the hangout area is separate from the sleeping area. We were able to fit 7 tents, 3 were very large tents with super easy access to the water. And the spot had plenty of parking. We fit 6 vehicles and could have fit 2 more. With the bathrooms across the street and a water sprout at the front of the spot makes it the perfect camping spot. We used to go to Detroit every year. This is the new spot now so much more peaceful

Campsites were clean and even raked upon our arrival! Bathroom was maintained well. Appreciated the camp host driving through now and again as well.
