We had a great stay! The only things we wish were better: river water level & bathroom stank.

The lake was empty but made for a nice river ambiance. The host was a great host. Camp ground was clean and well kept. Not bad on mosquitoes either.

We spent a very, very good week at this camp.
J.P., the host of the camp, is very friendly and helpful. He showed us a nice swimming hole.
I hope we have a chance to go there again.

Very relaxing, just listening to the wind in the trees and despite the lake being so low, it created some nice sound effects from the running water that made the site very peaceful. The campground is very clean, very nice camp host. It’s heavily shaded making it comfortable even if the temps are high. If the lake is low there are several other nice kayaking spots within a 20 minute drive.

Campsites were clean and even raked upon our arrival! Bathroom was maintained well. Appreciated the camp host driving through now and again as well.

We stayed in spot #4 and it’s for sure the best spot there. It’s our second time staying there. I love that the hangout area is separate from the sleeping area. We were able to fit 7 tents, 3 were very large tents with super easy access to the water. And the spot had plenty of parking. We fit 6 vehicles and could have fit 2 more. With the bathrooms across the street and a water sprout at the front of the spot makes it the perfect camping spot. We used to go to Detroit every year. This is the new spot now so much more peaceful
