We reserve this spot every year for the privacy and seclusion, however we won’t be returning again. The last three years we have had to ask people to not come into our private camping area and it becomes very uncomfortable multiple people each day. They walk around the closed and locked gate or walk down from the bathrooms. We pay to be in this spot and they fight and argue and encroach on us every day we are there. It’s so frustrating.

As always Jim Creek campground is wonderful. The only issue we had was that the gate was not locked due to the fact that the holes in the gate did not line up for the metal pin to go through.

The only problem I have with this place is that tons of people park or camp at the bathrooms and then walk through the camp site to the water totally invading and disrupting the family camping trip.

Actually, it should be negative 100. You took my $160 and then never sent me the code to unlock the gate. When I arrived there it had a different lock, a padlock. I had no key. I am furious and will tell everyone how my money was stolen and my only vacation of the year was ruined!!

I paid in advance for 4 nights. Every day the gate was locked. I was never sent via paper mail the combination code as was instructed. The gate lock was a padlock. So I had no key. Totally ruined my only vacation of the year. Every access for help was unavailable or unresponsive. I expect a refund $160 promptly.
