Whalen Island County Campground

This camping site is built in harmony with the beautiful scenery. The reason why I've already visited this place for the 3rd time is because there is a very good trail course, and it's a great place. If you walk along the secluded path, you can see the sea view and Wild natural area overlooking the sand beach, and you can enjoy a very refreshing trail with a reasonable distance. It's a flaw that there aren't many parking lots, but it's also a great place. I highly recommend it.

I loved the natural vibe here. Very peaceful. It doesn’t have a lot of amenities, but also no crowds! It’s a great place to relax and clear your mind. Nature is very healing.

The campground is on the smaller side, with 33 sites packed into a pretty tight loop. The surrounding area is absolutely magnificent, beautiful, glorious, and all the other things nature can be. Wonderful bird watching.

This spot was perfect for our one night stay. Centrally located for our mini road trip 😎 Beautiful area and we really enjoyed watching all the wildlife! Bathrooms were super clean and the hosts were very friendly. My only "criticism" is our spot was next to the boat launch and felt a little exposed. It was nice having distance from other campers, but there was no real buffer between the campground and public launch.

had a great 3 nights stay here. camp site had a picnic table and fire ring. beautiful view. flushing toilets. only complaint is very aggressive mosquitos! making it difficult to be outside at night. it was also so windy one night it damaged our tent but overall a good trip and nice campground.
