If you are NOT an ATV user I do NOT recommend this campsite. Camp host was super nice, and the location itself was awesome but we left a day early because we were woken up at dawn by an ATV user revving their engine. We were the only campsite that did not have an ATV of some sort. Just wanted a nice, calm, peaceful time away and that is not what we got. At all. Traditional campers beware. ATV users will love this campsite, but if you just want a nice quiet weekend this is NOT the place to do so.

Bathrooms were nasty and looks like not cleaned in months . I had to say something to grt them cleaned . Do better prices went up and the bare minimum is being done ..

Hi, we stay here a lot and always clean up trash that’s there when we arrive, we got over it even though the host should be doing it.
That’s not my complaint, my complaint is the new host he seems very grumpy and talks rude

Campground was well maintained and camp spots clean. People were mostly respectful (not that it has anything to do with the campground itself). Only down side is that if you get spot 48 like we did is that we consistently had people cutting the corner and driving thru our camp site. I don’t mean like hauling a trailer and dropping an axle off into the sand. I mean blatantly not even trying to stay on the road and even had a few trucks stuck in the sand of our spot within 2 feet of our picnic table. Been staying in the camp ground for 10+ years and first time in spot 48 and probably won’t get that spot again if I can help it. Again not the campgrounds fault just a lack of common sense in today’s society.

The camp host was very nice. Unfortunately a campsite directly across from me were actively setting off fireworks and people near by were playing very loud music. Unless you are planning to ride the dunes don’t go for quiet and relaxing.

The campground was a clean comfortable area. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The close access to the dunes was very convenient. The dunes are a beautiful and fun place to take your side by side ATV or motorcycle !

Sandbeach Campground is accessible via Highway 101, which is approximately 11 miles to the east from Tillamook. Sandlake Road (County Road 871) connects directly to Highway 101 and leads to Galloway Road.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Site types & loops
- This campground does not provide RV hookups or dump stations.
Vehicles & parking
- Motorized vehicles on sand must comply with Oregon OHV regulations.
Fees & deposits
- A ticket system is in place for Fourth of July weekend; vehicle tickets or campground reservations are required.
