What Guests Are Saying

Woods County Campground is a quiet spot away from the beach, ideal for kayaking or paddleboarding from the dock on the river. While the campground has limited and closely spaced sites, it serves its purpose for a quick stay. Improvements could enhance the overall experience.

Quiet little campground out of The fray of being at the beach would be great to see them. Do some improvements. Say a nice little dock on the river that you could put your kayak or paddle board in from.

This is a tiny campground against a semi busy intersection the 9 full spots are small and close together. The bike or human powered 10&11 are extra tiny. Not terrible but not exactly peaceful but it will do in a pinch!

Stayed here on a Sunday night. This was not in the itinerary. My girlfriend and I were supposed to stay at sand beach campground but didn鈥檛 realize that it was dunebug central, we could not handle the noise and left after an hour.

I drove here on a whim hoping for availability, and thank God. There were several spots available馃檹馃檹 Host Wendy was fantastic and very very very nice. The bathrooms were very clean. There were five other sites taken. Spaces were good, clean, water spout which was great and much much much quieter than our previous campground. Wendy also had a german Shepard dog. Was NOT a problem, quite frankly it made me feel a little safer. all in all, I would absolutely stay here again, very close to pacific beach which is beautiful. Thank you Wendy馃檹馃檹

Camp host Wendy was awesome and made my stay! Yes, this campground is by the road, but the location, availability, and camp host made it well worth my stay. Bathrooms were always clean, and the view was great to wake up to every morning!
