Cultus Lake Campground

Beautiful area with plenty of amenities. Stayed in a cabin at the resort. The resort has pretty much anything you need and a restaurant.

If you go past entrance to the resort on left hand side is cove. As an adult you can walk far far out and it isn't over wAist deep. Really great for younger kids and everyone. Has changing rooms, bathroom. Nice beach area.

This place was great! Very pretty. A little smoky when I went, so make sure you check the weather before you go. Other than that, great place and the earlier you go, the better because this place does get busy as the day goes on.

The person planning our trip called the reservation number and was told that the campground was first come first serve. Half of the campsites were labeled reserved when we got there and there was not one site open. After taking it up with the camp host, they replied “Yeah that happens sometimes” and suggested Little Cultus Lake up the road. I do not suggest taking up that suggestion if you don’t plan on driving down a rough road. It’s a 3 mile road but it took me 20 minutes to get down because I was taking it so easy. Some of the staff seemed alittle rude but I suppose it’s understandable with all of the people because it did get quite crowded. Other than that, the water and scenery was beautiful , the water was warm and the jet skis were a blast. Hoping next year we’ll be able to work out reservations.

Cultus Lake is one of my favorites when visiting Bend! It is incredibly clear, usually pretty quiet in the morning before 11, and a great place to swim. Watch out for the chipmunks, though - they will steal your food!
