This is one of many times I've gone to a campground and it was almost empty but every site was reserved. It is ridiculous that people can reserve sites and not show up and prevent people from enjoying the outdoors. There should be a cutoff time that you forfeit your site for the day if you don't show, maybe 5pm.

Be aware that this campground is only accessible by a dirt road. Easily clearable by most vehicles, but it wasn’t advertised anywhere. Would have been hard to access in the rain. Campsites seemingly aren’t labeled. I arrived just after sunset and there were no staff or signage to help find my campsite, which was quite far away from the entrance. Very frustrating for a solo traveler. Recommend other campgrounds in central cascades closer to the main hiking trails, not this one.

Our 3 night stay at Little Cultus Lake was wonderful. We were there during the week, in August, and the campground was nearly empty. It was so quiet, with no motor boats allowed to go faster than 10 miles an hour and the fabulous sunrises and sunsets were amazing. The stars at night were phenomenal. Although there is a water pump at the entry to the campground, it wasn't working so be sure to take your own water. Big Cultus Lake is only about 4 miles up the road so ice and food, if needed, are easily available. There were no mosquitos or other bothersome insects and we were able to have a fire in the fire ring. The vault toilets were very clean. Great place to camp!

The young woman, that was the camp host, was amazing. She was so helpful and kind. The bathrooms were extremely clean.
Shhhhh Little Cultus Lake Campground is my favorite.

Nice and quiet campground. Bring enough drinking/potable water with you.

Our campsite was excellent! Sturdy picnic bench, great fire pit, awesome blend of space for setting up tents as well as trees for shade. Plus the lake was so close and so beautiful! We brought our paddleboards and went out on the water four times in two days! The campsite host was very sweet and she kept the vault toilet as clean as one can hope for. We would highly recommend this location!

Beautiful place, I've been going camping there since I was a kid. Bring bug spray and a sweatshirt. Even in Mid July it got a bit chilly.

The campground host, "Danny" was a refreshing change from the grumpy old men who usually have the job. She was very friendly, asked if we needed any thing, and answered every question we had. She routinely came through the campground, but without being intrusive.

Nice campground. Lake good for kayaking early day. Winds pick up early afternoon. Mosquitoes not too bad.
