If you even talk about alcohol, the park rangers will use that as an excuse to search your campsite for anything. Our group was given a warning, which we took and did not drink anymore. Kept all drinks sealed and locked since we were hours away from home. The next night we were talking about how it sucked we couldn't drink and the rangers came in to search our camp and forced us to dump everything we had locked up and threatened to kick us out. We packed up and left the next morning. Now 3 months later, I get a violation notice in the mail and a fine for $230. Might be a good park if you have small children and want a dry weekend, but otherwise, look for someplace else

Hosts were great to let us know upon check in of other available sites we could move to before fully setting up our camp. Good amenities and location easy to bike to Cottage Grove, covered bridges, and rails-to-trails along Dorena Reservoir.
