Great place to spend a few days or a week. We go there every year as it is close to the town we grew up in. It is a perfect place for relaxing and seeing the sites and can do a day trip to the coast.

Not my style of campground, more oriented towards RV camping. Tent sites are very close together with not much vegetation between sites and you can hear even regular talking from campers around you. If you don't care about that you'll be happy. This site was right next to the little trail which was sweet. Bathrooms were super clean when we were there.

Map could reflect more accurately where the showers are to aid in picking campsite. Very convenient location for camping.

Upon arrival the site we had booked was full sun and not very nice looking. The woman at the help area was able to move us to a different site that had shade. She was very friendly and helpful.
You CANNOT access the reservoir from this camp ground. You have to drive.

I was there just after Labor Day, so it was very quiet. Restrooms and shower were very clean. My mission was to visit every covered bridge in the area. The map from the camp host was very helpful. Cottage Grove is a lovely town with many interesting murals throughout the downtown. And West Fork Brewery has great craft beer.
