Upon arrival the site we had booked was full sun and not very nice looking. The woman at the help area was able to move us to a different site that had shade. She was very friendly and helpful.
You CANNOT access the reservoir from this camp ground. You have to drive.

I was there just after Labor Day, so it was very quiet. Restrooms and shower were very clean. My mission was to visit every covered bridge in the area. The map from the camp host was very helpful. Cottage Grove is a lovely town with many interesting murals throughout the downtown. And West Fork Brewery has great craft beer.

Clean, well run campground. The sites near the entrance get some noise from cars on the county road. Clean, free showers with hot water.

FYI; site 32 has no trees to provide shade when it’s the heat of the day. Would’ve been peaceful had not another camper been grinding away at his RV for hours then called a repair RV company to fix what he had done. Campground has opening to river; however, it’s super shallow and not swimmable. Good knee depth. Other than that, it was great!

One of our best trips to Schwarz park this time! We have been coming for years & there is a lot to do for the kids. The only recommendation would be to have more showers available!

Was a pretty decent stay. Liked having access to the dump station on the way out. Has tons of kids though so it’s loud all day long. If you can get a site on the outskirts away from most others that would be a good bet if you want some kind of peace.

It was a nice campground. It was nice being by the river, but it was very overcrowded and the bathrooms we're filthy.
