It was a wonderful experience; we were able to connect with nature just as we had hoped. The staff’s attentiveness made us feel safe. The cleanliness and the care shown by the housekeeping staff were exceptional. All in all, it was a very pleasant and peaceful experience.

This was our first time camping there. Definitely will be back. We loved the feel and beauty of the camp site. I grew up on the Rogue River. I am glad to have a great campground not to far from home! That has close city resources if needed. See you next year!

The dry camping was great. Love that there is water available. It would have been nice to have power at the sites for the HOT weather. Being that the weather can be unpredictable in summer, power at the sites would be a huge plus.

Beautiful well cared for campground. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly. We were in a double site so the showers were far away, but the was parking at the showers.

We went mid week end of July and it was a hot spell but we had a nice big spot in the shade along the river. Campground was only half full if that. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that the open spots aren’t marked and you are supposed to go on to Rec.gov and see if the spots are available. There is very little cell service s it makes it impossible to check on spots yourself. They need a better system for people coming in with no reservations.

There are no hookups at the site, but water and dump station on the exit lane are very convenient. Showers were clean and had hot water. Pretty quiet even on the weekend when there are lots of families with kids.

This is a pleasant park. Lots of big open spaces and large campsites. We enjoyed the short hikes in the area.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Reservations require 2 nights on weekends and 3 nights on holiday weekends.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- Alcohol is not allowed in the park.
Vehicles & parking
- Single sites allow 2 vehicles; double sites allow 4 vehicles. No extra vehicles are allowed.
- Campers must transport their RV or trailer; no leaving unmotorized trailers behind.
Utilities
- No electricity, water, or sewer hookups are available.
Site capacity
- Single sites accommodate up to 8 people; double sites up to 16. No extra visitors are allowed.
Site types & loops
- Single sites allow 1 camping unit and 2 or 3 tents.
Safety & rules
- Camping is limited to 14 days within a 30-day period.
- Bring battery backup for medical equipment; generators are not allowed during quiet hours.
Fires & fuel
- Buy firewood locally and burn it on-site to protect forests.
Wildlife & food storage
- Prevent invasive species by cleaning gear, staying on trails, and disposing of waste properly.
