Great campground space wise. Our site and many around were spacious.Great campground for little kids with bikes and who like to play in shallow water (when we were there the river was low). Close to Dorena lake. Be aware of the no alcohol rule.

The Corp Of Engineers hasn't put a dime into updating this camp ground in the last thirty years. From the roadways to the bathroom and showers everything is very old and in need of updating. Considering how much they charge for group camp sites, you would expect that some of that revenue would be used for renovation.

Not enough bathrooms! Saw men peeing in the bushes instead of walking the long way to a proper bathroom. 2 showers for a huge campground are clearly not enough. No monitoring of constant generators running. Could not have a conversation in our own campsite without yelling at each other to be heard. Would be nice to have no generator hours at all past 4 pm to 8 am. Why go camping if you have to run them?? Volunteers were nice, just not enough of them. Bad enough experience to not ever go back.
