I’ve spend the night close to the river, everything was fine and restrooms worked well, showers didn’t tho.

We LOVE Schwarz park and am super sad that I can't find any reservations the rest of this summer that coincide with my days off. This place is great for kids, the volunteers and employees are nice and helpful and respectful. Everyone who camps there is there for the same reason, and my kids make random friends every time we go. Every time we camp here, my kids and I are sad to leave and we can't wait to book our next site here.

I booked really late for the Labor day weekend. The only place left was a spot by the road. I figured what the heck we would give it a try. We did get to listen to bikers drive up and down all day long but other than that the site was beautiful. It back up to a corner of the park. We had access to about four times the space of our campsite. We took 5 dogs with us so they thought it was great. It is a beautiful park. You might want to book a little earlier than we did. There are some great spots by the river. But if you do book late don't be too afraid of the corner spot by the road. :) The park is very well maintain and clean. The showers and bathrooms are great. The camp host was also wonderful.

Love camping in this park.
I wish it was open year round. It would be a great place to camp all year long!

An absolutely wonderful park, with large campsites with many along the Row River. Biking, hiking and an occasional small group tour of Dorena Dam.
