Filthy property with mice. Futon in living room and leather chairs stink of pet urine. Very dirty and needs refurbishment.

Quaint little place on highway 58. We were surprised when we checked in. Walked up to the room and found a stack of split wood. Inside a little wood burning stove. In addition there was a good size refrigerator, microwave and 2 burner stovetop. Not really expected what we got and were pleasantly surprised. Would recommend and will return

We rented a chalet and the kitchen items were very dirty. There was still coffee in the coffee pot. Looks like the place was not cleaned

We booked one of the cabins. I'll start by saying I don't like to give bad reviews, and there are several very positive things to say about the property. The floorplan is quirky and fun. Great for hosting a family. Beautiful grounds and convenient location in Crescent Lake Junction. But... The cabin was filthy and neglected. Dingy surfaces, window blinds had years of filth caked on them. The oven was gross. The toilet runs every 15 minutes due to needing a new flapper. Nice big "clunk" when it's done filling wouldn't be so bad, but ALL NIGHT LONG. The DVD/VCR does not turn on. The living room light is broken.Filthy stained carpets. Gross filth build-up on microwave vents. Living room clock needs new battery (easy fix, but why not fix it???). The faux fireplace heats nicely, but the fire does not work. And the best part, a DEAD MOUSE on the carpet under the router. It had been there a while.
Now... If the owners give this cabin a deep cleaning and fixed the broken amenities I would change my review to 4 stars. Look for the owner's response with description of addressing these issues, and THEN I would recommend staying here for a nice getaway. ***EDIT*** after reading other reviews regarding cleanliness, I would NOT recommend staying here at all. YUCK!

I loved my room, which I got late into at night. It had a fireplace, and the beds were comfortable and cozy. I also loved that it had a heater in case you didn't want to light up the fireplace. It was cold at night, 48 degrees. I felt this inn was a saving grace after driving a lot of hours on the road. I would highly recommend it.
