What Guests Are Saying
Crescent Creek Campground offers a peaceful and clean environment, with friendly camp hosts and well-maintained facilities. However, guests should be prepared for mosquitos, particularly near the creek, and the campground is primarily suited for tent campers, making it challenging for larger trailers. Overall, it serves as a great base for exploring nearby lakes.

Love this quiet small campground with a lovely creek and only a few miles from the lake for easy access.

The campground was closed do to hazardous trees, yet rec.gov still allowed me to book the reservation. In fact, I learned that Crescent Creek CG is first come first service and can't be booked via rec.gov. So requested a refund and was not awarded one for whatever reason. The CG itself is awesome, but apparently it is closed for the summer, but rec.gov has no problem taking your money even though its closed.

We were there for a week, garbage services would’ve been nice and also moist access to the river from other campsites

We had a great 11 days! Site number 2 was great, 3 not so much. The creek was amazing. The only bummer was the noisy traffic.

We arrived to the site with the wrong name on the reservation board, which was slightly confusing, especially because there was a broken tent, shoes, glasses, and other garbage remaining in the campsite that we had already paid for and reserved weeks prior. Additionally, there were several pieces of chicken remaining in the fire ring, which had attracted hornets. A little more investigation found that there was a hornets’ nest in the ground between sites 3 and 4, in about the only open spot suitable for a tent. There were no campground hosts and so I had to call recreation.gov (hold time was close to 1 hr) to find alternate accommodations. I don’t recommend anyone stay at this campground considering it is so poorly kept up.

Nice small campsite...the only downside is it’s quite close to the road, so you get a bit of traffic noise, but that didn’t spoil our stay. Apart from that it’s great. The pretty creek was the best part, a short walk from the campsites; make sure to go and take a dip.
