We arrived on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. The restroom that was closest to our campsite had a broken toilet seat and was not usable for children or people that need to sit down to void. When the campground employee came through in the morning we informed him and he told us that the management knew about it and would be repairing it on Tuesday after the Holiday. I was so disappointed. We picked a spot that was near a restroom for a reason. That is unacceptable for a campground that is operated through the UFSS system.

SO LOUD!!! Traffic isn’t even 1/8th mile away from the camp sites. Gorgeous views and I can’t wait to go back, but ho-LY!! Next time I’m DEFINITELY bringing ear plugs!

Visitor needs to realize that this is a campground that has limited resources. It does have picnic table and a fire ring but no water or electricity. The parking area is dirt and is not level. It is less than 50 yards from Highway 58 so be aware that it is heavily traveled even at night.

We had an amazing time! Our campsite was #7. Perfect view of the lake from higher up and just a short walk around to the boat dock. We had plenty of mosquito repellent ready so that’s a must. We were suprised how noisy it was at night but to be honest it was a deal breaker.
Would definitely stay here again!!
