What Guests Are Saying
Whitefish Horse Camp offers great trails, a beautiful lake, and clean, comfortable campsites. The well-constructed stalls for horses and the campground's overall quality were praised, along with the wonderful host. However, only one trail was cleared, limiting riding options and leading to disappointment regarding trail accessibility.

Whitefish horse camp was very nice overall. The campsites were clean and comfortable. The stalls were pipe and very well done for the horses. It is in a great location to lake and the trails. The lake was so pristine and beautiful. The only problem was there was only one trail cleared. We expected all of the trails to be accessible. The one trail was very nice though. It would have been nice to have been updated on the trail conditions before our trip. We booked 6 months in advance.

The host was wonderful and the campground was amazing. We enjoyed riding down to the lake but only one trail was open, whitefishcreek trail. This limited our riding options which was very disappointing. If trails would have been passable it would have been an excellent trip.

The parking site was not level. It would be helpful if the description of the site would state how level or how sloped the parking area is.

The trails were maintained and wonderful to ride on. The campground was very pleasing and the hosts were not only cheerful and helpful but very kid friendly. I will be back!

Great location- clean sites & well maintained bathrooms
Camp hosts are the greatest I have experienced. Easy walk to the lake and trails are cleared for the horses. Thanks

Camp hosts do an excellent job. Camp is neat and tidy. Vault toilets are cleaned and resupplied regularly. Hosts are responsive to camper needs.

The camp hosts were very nice and kept a clean camp. Disappointed that the trails were not cleared better.

A really nice horse camp in a beautiful location, Whitefish never fails to impress. The sites are well maintained and potable water is plentiful. The best part of Whitefish though are the camp hosts, Jim and Jerry. They work very hard to make every camper's experience memorable. They are kind, helpful, and attentive. We felt very comfortable leaving our horses for the day to go for a drive down to Crater Lake because we knew they would keep an eye on everything.
