Beautiful huge trees. Pleasant short hiking trails to a dune valley or around small lake.

Some highway noise, somewhat primitive, but it's what I like.

We have stayed here several times in the past 3 years. We do like this location. There are a several of sites that accommodate our trailer (33ft). The only downside is the proximity to highway 101. Some of the sites are fairly close to the road, and even though traffic decreases in the evening there are periodic trucks that go by. If there were a no-Jake-brake area here it would help with the night noise.

There was nothing about this campsite that we as a family enjoyed. The sites were ridiculously tiny it was basically a cement pad with a picnic table. My husband and I had to set up our tent on the cement because the site couldn't fit 2 small tents in it. Really bad mosquitoes from the little lake in the site. The lake is not swimmable. The only pro is how close it is to the actual city of Florence which is a great place to spend a day.

This was an excellent campsite for exploring the Oregon coast. Small, well wooded, private, campsites; easy water supply; and perfectly maintained toilets.

Our spot was badly sloped but large and enveloping in the trees and nature.
