The sites were quiet and private with lush growth between each, and the grounds and bathrooms were very cleaned every day. We were on site 17 with an 8’ x 12’ tent and it was just right. I could see how some of the other sites might not be as accommodating to a larger tent, but there were several sites in reserved and in FCFS areas that could. There is a little walking path that goes around the pond and connects to each site with a foot bridge here and there. There is also a smaller lake day use area that has a dune trail (starting at the vault toilets there) that is a bit longer of a hike in the sand, but really pretty and quiet.

Nice little forest service campground. Wooded with a secluded feel. Clean. Quiet. Super nice host. Not on ocean, but can hear a quiet ocean roar.

Very lovely campground. Super friendly camp host! We checked out a day early only because of the cruddy weather, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay otherwise!

Beautiful, green, quiet campground. Host was very friendly and helpful. Florence is conveniently close and is an easy run in for anything one might forget. There are no showers on site, as noted, but there are nice showers + laundry in Florence if needed. There's a lovely short walk around a lake at the campsite with options to branch off towards the dunes. Note - you can't really walk to the beach from the campsite.
