We had reservations for site #21, but moved to #23 upon arrival with permission from the camp host. Site #23 was very close to the river, large, and had plenty of even ground for our tent. The camp host warned us that a lot of people tend to accidentally walk through the site (thinking it was part of the river path), but this didn't happen to us the night we stayed. The campground was very clean, and we saw the camp host cleaning and attending to the (flushable) bathrooms in the morning. We stayed the Monday night after the 4th of July, and so the campground was fairly quiet and only about half full or so. We saw two dogs and both owners had them on leashes, which we appreciated with our reactive dog in mind. We would gladly stay in this campground again!
