Horseshoe Bend Campground is situated in a stand of old growth Douglas fir, sugar pine, and deciduous trees, on the banks of the Wild & Scenic North Umpqua River. The campground offers the perfect setting for families, anglers, whitewater enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to escape and relax in their natural surroundings.

Love this campground! This year the yellow jackets were bad but overall I enjoy camping here. Beautiful scenery, bathrooms with running water, and access to a swimming spot

Mike our camp host was ABSOLUTELY awesome. He was super helpful and friendly. The campground was beautifully kept and super clean.
I've now been there twice in the last month and will definitely be back there next year 😊

Of course we had to camp when the wasps were at their worst! Had four traps around the camp site but they still swarmed whenever we cooked.
I would suggest a rebuild or refurbish for the bathrooms. Peeling paint on stalls, floors, and walls is unattractive. Tiny cubicles are very uncomfortable.
But, we had a great time in our favorite camp site by the river! Park ranger was very friendly and available.
