We also got locked out because the lock was put on while we were here and the code we received was incorrect. Not cool! Particularly not when the ranger station is closed and there’s nobody nearby to assist. I’m glad we were trying to leave to go shopping and not because of an emergency because it took us at least an hour to try enough combinations to get through.
Site is pretty but not impressed by the vandalism.

Don't camp here! The ranger locked me in the campground and gave me the wrong code to unlock the padlock. So when I tried to leave the next day, I was locked in! The location is remote and I had a difficult time reaching them by phone for help. Eventually, they came out confirmed the code was set wrong and had to come back later with bolt cutters for the lock. When I got out, there was no mention of reimbursement for the incident. I tried calling their office multiple times after to discuss reimbursement and couldn't reach anyone. I left a message and still haven't heard back. Pretty bad!
Aside from the incident, the site is close to the road and very noisy from cars passing.

The grounds were amazing. It was winter so we were unable to go swimming but it would be a Perfect swimming spot. The grounds were clean only found about 2 princes of any trash. The bathroom was really gross tho. Feces on the seat and mold on the walls. The gate lock was hard to open like it was rusty or stuck. The entrance can be missed as it’s right on a bend but it’s nice. Had a great time and it was beautiful
