Great place to camp and rip sand. Camping is close to sand entrance. Riding right next to the water is sublime. Views from atop the hills are magical. Great place to ride without traveling too far from Portland/Vancouver.

Sandbeach has been a family favourite for about 12-13 years, so I'd say that says a lot in itself. It's location so close to the ocean is a bonus, as compared to some quading sites further south down the coast. Proximity to Pacific City and Tillamook is helpful for replenishing goods and don't miss the cliffs at The Pelican (excellent food, too). Because many trees and bushes have been preserved around the sites kids have a great playtime. It's pretty much one of our favourite places on earth.

It must be very good for people with quads, but we are just regular travellers who did booking online. It was not clear at the time of booking that this camping is specialized and suitable ONLY for people with quads.
It is loud, with no quick access to the shore. Other regular travellers looked frustrated too.
And a note for the administrative body: quad traces are everywhere, including the places where it is forbidden

Sand beach is beautiful, serene. Well worth foregoing a shower. Possible my favorite beach on the Oregon coast.
