We've been here several times before, and love this area for the kayaking, fishing, and walking on the beach. This time, we had a severe windstorm, resulting in fires to the South and North of the campground. The smoke became thick, and the host came by to let us know the campground was being evacuated through an abundance of caution. Due to the early decision, we were able to leave and get home without being stuck in long lines of traffic. While we regret not being able to stay for our entire time, the NPS and host made out stay as enjoyable as possible, and we received a refund for the time we lost. We will be back!

We stayed for the 4th of July and were looking for a beach campground. Although we knew there was an ATV park nearby, we didn't realize that this campground was THE spot to stay. As non-ATVers this took us a little by surprise. Really glad we stayed at the sites we did since they were really as close to the non-vehicle beach which we loved and took full advantage of. Had a great stay overall, but word of warning to anyone else looking for a "beach stay," although "quiet hours" at camp are one time, "ATV quiet hours" start an hour earlier and end an hour later so expect to hear the rev of engines from 5am-12am.

Great location. But we had some noisy neighbors that would rev up their four wheelers at 3:00am.

Clean campsite full of respectful people and open campsites. We had plenty of space for parking and tenting. The fire pit was central and we had a very nice picnic table provided for us.
The walk to the ocean was incredible. We found crabs, jellyfish, saw a seal in the water, and of course plenty of birds. Very kid friendly and a short drive on our ATV's to the dunes.

Sandbeach Campground is accessible via Highway 101, which is approximately 11 miles to the east from Tillamook. Sandlake Road (County Road 871) connects directly to Highway 101 and leads to Galloway Road.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- Motorized vehicles on sand must comply with Oregon OHV regulations.
