Cindy, the camp host was awesome. Very informative.

The campsite was very clean and well maintained as was the rest of the campground.

We were somewhat disappointed that a fire band was put into place on our second night but we realize it’s no fault of the campground or camp host and respected the rules.

Neatly maintained campsites in a very serene location. The restrooms were always clean. The lake is ideal for kayaking and paddle boarding. Please bring plenty of water and food with you. The host Cindy is very friendly and amazing. Any issues or questions, she has got you!

We love coming here, it's our go to for the 4th of July weekend to escape the fireworks with the dogs. The campground is clean and well run, toilets are kept very clean, and other campers and day users are generally friendly and respectful. There is great swimming and (non motorized) boating on the lake, and some good hiking options that we enjoy.

It was quiet and the sites were relatively private. The lake is beautiful as is the view of Mt Hood from the lake

Great sites with easy water access. Not a bad walk in from the cars. Cindy greeted us and was very nice. I was a little concerned about the access road warnings but we were driving a low riding minivan (due to our gear) and had no problems. Great location for kids.

This is a nice campgrond on a beautiful lake. As it was my first visit, I was not ready for the more unconventional campground layout. This is not a traditional campground with every site having a space for a car. Instead many of the sites are actually walk in, with parking close by. The issue is that the spots needed for the walk-in sites can be taken by day use folks. There is a lot of day use people, but it calmed down by sunset.

When I reserved my spot on Recreation.gov, it says that the site is "Accessable." I do not need that, and since it said ALL the sites were Accessable, I went ahead and clicked through the warning. The sites are NOT Accessable.

The campground host, Cindy, was very nice and helpful.
