Westcliff Lodge

For the price you can't beat the rooms. The place is rustic and older, but very clean. We received a large suite with huge windows and a beautiful view of the Columbia river, and a fully loaded kitchenette. The outside garden is lush and green and set up to sit outside to enjoy the river view. We visited in early March where it's cold and raining, but if you visited during late spring and summer then it's wonderful to sit outside. Definitely would come back again.

We got a balcony room and even though the river area was really foggy, it was still a gorgeous view. Best bang for your buck in this area in my opinion. There are plenty of other places to stay while in Hood River but this one was the perfect balance of budget friendly and gorgeous views.

We needed to book 2 rooms last minute as we were driving through Hood River. This place was highly recommended and I am so grateful. Great value for space, updated very very clean accommodations and great service. The housekeepers truly take pride in their work. Loved the rain heads in the updated bathrooms too! Beautiful hotel with incredible views and a very peaceful atmosphere. The room was extremely clean and spacious. The staff was kind and even called us the day before to remind us of our reservation. We wish we could have stayed more nights. We will definitely return!

This place felt like a hidden treasure. You can feel the age in the best way. The rooms are very clean and modern but still retain a classic vide than is difficult to create. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and housekeeping does a stellar job. Good prices and spacious rooms. Best overall lodging I have experienced in Hood River.
