The campground felt somewhat rundown and neglected. The restrooms had no toilet paper for our first two days, then when finally serviced was vandalized and 80 % of new filled paper was destroyed. Having no camp hosts has consequences. I did not appreciate the camp neighbors cussing and yelling at their children way after quiet hours and many campers ignoring the quiet hours altogether. We made the best of our trip but it took more effort than it should. Bugs were bad but weather was terrific. The park staff we encountered at pizza joint and resort services were friendly and helpful.

Good location to visit Crater Lake, close to North Entrance. There is a good general store at marina and lodge area. Sites are clean and manager was friendly. Diamond lake is beautiful and you are camping right next to it.

We were there for only 2 nights. The gnats and mosquitos were so bad we were very uncomfortable. Our tent was 50ft from a big road and vehicles went by all day and night. G19 was not a good campsite. Hate to be so negative but we really didn't have a good time.

The campground was clean and fairly quiet. The site itself had a decently steep drop off which allowed for several independent instances of heart attack when my 1.5 year old took the downhill at full speed. Other than that we had a great time. Bugs galore here but if you persevere the bike trip around the lake is a blast.

Nice campground. Parking your camper in Loop G ( South End) can be a bit of a challenge. Next time will try for some sites right by the water (K, L, M), the view is amazing. The Bathrooms are a bit dated, but they are clean. There is one shower area which is helpful.

the camp site was great, the restrooms were in need of repair. Although they are normally well lit through out the night and have air hand dryers the one labeled RR 4-5 loop K did not. Better bring a flashlight if the urge hit after dark, Not sure about the women's side of the RR but the men's had a urinal and two toilets. The stall urinal china was broken at the top and squirted out the top at you when flushed. and one of the two toilets was out of order. Make matters worse the working one only had 3 partial rolls or TP which quickly ran out on a busy week end. There is no reason for this to be this way knowing all the Forest service campgrounds are booked out months in advance.

Lakeside site, soooo many gnats drove us crazy. Also, no great place to set up a large tent, even though the site itself was spacious. Very beautiful.

Late season rain and snow made everything green and fresh. This campground is is huge. Campsites are well spaced out, and for the most part, private. Consider bringing a bike to get around. Walking from one end to the other was almost 2 miles. Lake was gorgeous, breezy most of the day (calm mornings and evenings). 25 min drive to Crater Lake. I will be back.
