Great lake and opportunity to be in nature. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this campground. Sitting between two mountains and close drive to Crater Lake. Nice trail to walk on around the lake. And even boat rentals at the Lodge. Great getaway!

Good fly fishing, excellent bike trail around the lake, nicely spaced camp sites. Amazingly, very few mosquitos this time (but don't count on it for the future)! Bathrooms are clean and the showers are nice.

Such a beautiful and well maintained campground. The rangers were all so very nice! Awe appreciated that the sites are very spacious. Sadly we were there at the very beginning of the season, and already noticed a lot of garbage around the sites, I really wish people would choose to be better stewards and clean up after themselves! This is not the job of the forest service people! The entire campground has recently had selective tree clearing to combat invasive beetle species. We didn’t see this as a detractor, it opens up the views of the lake nicely and left lots of wood available for chopping to have a fire, or for my kids to play around with! Absolutely gorgeous place, we will be back for sure.

I have camped at Diamond Lake campgrounds since 1967. When we arrived my husband asked the person at the check-in station if our son had already paid the extra vehicle fee for two days. She looked and said no. So we paid it. When we got to our camp spot, our son who had already arrived, said I did pay! and showed us the tickets he received for paying. We went back to the station to be reimbursed and the person said, I'm new, I don't know how to refund, come back tomorrow. So we went back the next day and were denied a refund, they said they don't have any way to refund. I was very frustrated because she should have made sure before she had us pay twice! The bathroom/showers at camp A/B in the ladies bathroom both sinks did not function. One sink the water only dribbled a tiny bit and the next sink was so plugged it was full of dirty water and wouldn't go down. So I had to walk over to the fish station to wash my hands every time. We were advised we couldn't bring outside wood for our campfire, so we bought all our wood there at the Marina, which it was not completely seasoned, so it was extremely hard to get the fire started and keep it going! I advised the lady at the Marina that your fire wood is wet and it cost $7 a bundle, don't you have drier wood? She said no we don't, that's all we have. No apology! This was also very frustrating because the weather was very cold and rainy! Over all we were very disappointed. We have never had any issues like this in all the years we have came. it use to be that you would see a camp host come around and stop at each campground & offer dry firewood for sale. Also used to see someone come around every morning to check bathrooms, clean them, re-stock. Didn't see any of that this year. Customer service was atrocious at this campground this year!

We were only able to stay one night on our way through but we'll be back for a longer period of time next year. Beautiful scenery, campground was large but spaced out. We were able to fine a place for our 30' travel trailer even without a reservation, June 2022.

There were to many bugs everywhere! Wherever we went and walked we got a handful of them in our mouths.

Great campsite with nicely laid out sites that kept trees and natural environment to give much individualist to each site. Beautiful location!
