Awesome view, great facilities (toilets, showers), but the gnats were horrible and severely detracted from our stay during early July.

There is quite a bit of deferred maintenance that needs to be done in the campground. Bathrooms and showers need work, potholes in the road need fixed, and a number of water facets are out of service.

Beautifully lake, well kept sites, nice camp host, great bike path, close to Crater Lake, showers, fishing, pizza and ice cream next door, just a great spot! The gnats were intense right by the water and the trash near us could have been hauled a day sooner but it was a holiday weekend.

I was right on the water and had a wonderful experience with the campsite. The tent pad was flat, had a nice picnic table and fire ring and the views of the mountain across the lake were stunning. The bathrooms hadn't been serviced in a while but I'm not camping for 5 star bathrooms. You'll be about 25-ish minutes to the first overlook at Crater Lake.
