Poole Creek offers a beautiful setting with excellent opportunities for boating, kayaking, and fishing, making it a popular choice for campers. The campsites are spacious and generally well-maintained, providing a peaceful environment, though some guests noted issues with dust, noise from other campers, and restroom cleanliness. Incredible spot right on the water. Beautiful views and large campsites that could accommodate a decent sized group, camping with tents and a bunch of hammocks. Some tree coverage, but mostly exposed to the sun. Most people on the waterfront campsites had full trailers and plenty of space to pull an RV or trailer in.

Due to nearby fire we decided to leave immediately after our arrival. There was no camp host to communicate with.

We really enjoy camping at Poole Creek and kayaking on Lemolo Lake. It is one of our "go to" destinations. However, there are some recurring negative issues. Toilet facilities are not cleaned regularly. Toilet paper is stocked but there is little to no effort to sweep out or hose out the facilities. This situation is probably due to the absence of a Camp Host during our visit. Some of the toilets have broken locks which prevents them from being secured during use.
