Thieslen View is the Best! Spacious campsites with good access to the lakefront for swimming with a sandy bottom. There was plenty of small wood on the forest floor, we didn't have to buy or bring any for our nightly fires. The Diamond lake bike loop had easy access from the campground and provided a fun day trip to the resort/store. Was a great base camp for a day trip to Crater lake, waterfall hikes down Hwy 138 or nearby mountain hikes, the fishing was easy and the ones we caught we big and fought really well. The pit toilets were kept clean and well stocked with TP.

Best campground in Oregon! I always look forward to going there every July. I really enjoy fishing at Diamond Lake, the resort is clean and accessible, and the lake is fantastic for swimming.

Very quiet Campground and nice stay overall. Lots to do closeby (Crater Lake, Upper Rogue River, hikes, bike trail, etc.) Thielson View itself needs attention to it's logged, downed trees on the lakeshore. Access to the water lacking over the last few years (little room for kayaks, boats, play area for kids). Many campsites showed reserved and were not utilized or opened when campers no-showed. Water from faucets was milky in appearance π³ We have camped here many times and it appears it is not being taken care of as in the past!

Generators running all day long, dogs left alone to bark and whine without supervision. Not the camping experience we expected. If people want to run a generator so they can stay in the RV and play vidio games why not just stay home in my opinion. If your looking for a quiet stay to enjoy nature this camp ground is NOT what you are looking for.
