Camp host was awesome and it’s a great area but we won’t be back. We could barely stand to be outside due to the mosquitoes. We had no idea they would be so bad. I counted 30 welts on my legs and I had long pants on. Our dog got bit too and had three bumps on her face. We had all the mosquito repellents activated as well. If you go, make sure to bring a mosquito net!

As others have said, no camp host. However, location was gorgeous and we had a wonderful time. Easy to walk from loop c to the lake shore. Close to crater lake. Vault toilets were almost completely full at the time so hopefully they empty them soon.

Great Diamond lake cg - hiker so easy access to both thielsen and Bailey. Quiet, mostly. Too many generators only downside

  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.

    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.

  • Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
