Only spent one night here but wish I spent more. Trees are close enough together to hang hammocks. There is a picnic table and fire pit with every campsite. It’s nice that the campsites are rather spread out compared to most campgrounds. Bring your own water as this is a dry site! This campsite is very quiet.

Beautiful campsite! Stayed at A15, large enough space for 12 folks with room to spare. Just FYI this site is downwind from the vault toilets- it didn’t really bother us, but a few times throughout the weekend we got a good wiff. Other than that, this campsite rules! Within walking distance to swimming spots on the river and about a 3 mile hike/ 15 min drive to the hot springs. Didn’t get around to checking out the waterfall, but that was about a 5 min drive as well. Oh, it’s worth mentioning that this is a dry campsite (no water), however there is a market about a 20 min drive up the road in case you run out of anything... ALSO, all of our bread got stolen by birds, chipmunks, squirrels, and who knows what. I suggest leaving all dry goods in the car overnight or when you leave the campsite. The Staller Jays pecked through our bag of Juanitas!!

I reserved a river side site months in advance- B10. When we arrived our site was as far from riverside as you can get. The problem- the rev.gov site map is completely inaccurate.
Although there are no really bad sites in this nice little campground, A1-A9 are the only ones with river access and are much cooler and river noise drowns out the rest of camp. There’s a fair amount of space between sites.
We were here in late August and there were no bugs. There was 1 super noisy (party til 2 am all weekend) group but this is southern Oregon so that is basically a given. Everyone else was kind.
Tried to hike to toketee falls but you might as well drive down the road back to the trailhead because the N umpqia trail WILL NOT get you there.
Toketee lake is ok. Probly good for fishermen. There really isnt any lake front even though it is right on the CG day use area.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds. This time around it was full, but comfortable. Reserved spots were marked by dates; adding the party's last name might be helpful. Toilet was clean and accessible, tho one side was locked the whole time. There is a lot of dry tree material hanging over campsites and fire pits, this should be addressed to help prevent fires from sparks.

Nice quiet spot, with ample shade and trees for hanging a line, hammock, and/or slackline. The lake was really nice and some people were swimming in it. The location is great for some trails within walking distance and a few beautiful waterfalls that were just a short drive away. Would stay here again!
