Jackson campground is located right at the edge of a charming creek, and only about 5 from Jackson Reservoir. For tent camping, the campground is spacious with lots of room. The only drawback is there are only 3 sites for RV's or trailers, and if 3 are there, they are almost on top of each other. I stayed with one other trailer in this section, and it was comfortable. Another trailer or RV would have been crowded.

The camp host was great! He met us immediately and guided us to our site. He gave great advice regarding things to see and do in the area. The site was clean and campground quiet. Our 25ft trailer fit well in RV1 and we had great views of the river. Highly recommend

Such an underrated spot. The campsites and bathrooms are all kept very clean. There’s nice trails from the sites down to the water that were perfect for us with our little ones. The host is very friendly and helpful. One of our favorite places to camp.

Beautiful campground. I was at site 006 and it had easy access to the river. The camp was clean and free of debris when I arrived and the camp host was very welcoming. He gave us the wifi password which was so nice because there was no service and offered bundles of wood to buy and his freezer to use. Would visit again.

Eric, the camp host was amazing. Professional, helpful and keeping the campground clean (bathroom and trash). The sites are a 'zen garden'. He must practice samon everyday to keep the sites that well maintained. Saw 1 eagle and 2 osprey. Easy water access from any site. Not a 5 experience because both my 'neighbors' made things a bit 'skunky'.

- Cancellations: Recreation.gov collects an $8 reservation fee, which is non-refundable. The campsite cancellation fee is a flat $10 for your entire reservation. EXAMPLE: if you booked (2) nites at $30 per nite, your total camping fee would be $68. If you cancelled at least 48-hours prior to your reservation arrival, your refund would be: $68-$8-$10 = $50 net refund. If you late cancel (within 48-hr of your arrival), you will also forfeit the first-nite camping fee. In this same example, you would be refunded: $68-$8-$10-$30 = $20 net refund. Processing refunds is time-consuming & expensive for the facility, and we potentially will not refill your camping spot. This loses revenue for the facility due to your situation & circumstances changing.
