Such a great place for groups. A few dead trees, but mostly cleaned up. Yellow jackets in summer are bad and there is a lot of poison oak near some of the campsites.

Great place to stay! Can fit a large group of people easily, or work for small groups if you like extra space. The field in the middle was perfect for frisbee, spikeball, and other games. Good for tent and/or trailer camping, and plenty of picnic tables and fire pits. It is right by the road, but it’s far away enough from other people/buildings that it doesn’t really matter, and I personally didn’t notice the road noise much. Right across the street is the river, which is easily accessible; the water isn’t super deep but it’s great for fishing and hanging out by the water! The bathroom is basic but functional, and they even cleaned it out while we were there. Would stay again any time, and definitely recommend.

Great private location, close to the river. The group site is clean and well taken care of, lots of room to play and roam! Rangers John & Keith are both great, and check in on us to see that everything was good! Always a wonderful experience staying at Flumet Flat.

Nice open space foe games and play. The river is a close walk. It would be nice to be able to have campfires in ring.

Always a great campsite. It holds a big group, and is very affordable. Many tent and many rv pull though rv sites. There is poison oak, we are in Oregon afterall, so stay on designated trails to avoid catching it. No hookups but their is a vault toilet.
