It is a wonderful small, shady campground near the Applegate River. Clean bathrooms with flush toilets and water in the campground with a camp host.

We had a great time tent camping here! The camp host (Eric) really made this a positive experience for us! He was super kind and helpful and we enjoyed talking with him! The yellow jackets were definitely present at the campground. Not sure much can be done, but be aware if you’re visiting in the summer. Restrooms were ok. Campsite was nice and great location!

The campground host was very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. He did a great job with unruly campers. The camp space was very clean when I got there. He kept up with the bathrooms as well as he could considering how messy people are.

Nice and quiet little campground. I really liked my spot and being able to hear/see the river right there. Quick and easy walk to the river access which was a pretty mellow part to wade into. Bathroom was clean and stocked. Camp-host was helpful and friendly. I personally am not a camper but will be back again.

General
- Tent camping includes parking for one vehicle, each additional vehicle is $7 per night / On-site camp hosts available
- Please schedule arrival prior to 8 p.m., or call to make late arrival arrangements. As a courtesy to other campers, late arrivals after 8:30 p.m. may be accommodated elsewhere, as to not disturb the sleeping and quiet campground.
- Quiet time for generators and RV noise is.
- Dumping of sewage or gray water is prohibited.
- When your first camping night is a Friday or Saturday night, a two-night minimum reservation is required.
- This is a USFS facility, operated under a special-use permit by Aztoor LLC. All inquiries should be directed to: www.applegatelake.com, which also has direct contact information for email & phone.
- Dogs on a leash are welcome. Please be considerate of other campers and keep pets under control at all times.
- Upon arrival, please check-in with camp-host.

- Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Cancellations: Recreation.gov collects an $8 reservation fee, which is non-refundable. The campsite cancellation fee is a flat $10 for your entire reservation. EXAMPLE: if you booked (2) nites at $30 per nite, your total camping fee would be $68. If you cancelled at least 48-hours prior to your reservation arrival, your refund would be: $68-$8-$10 = $50 net refund. If you late cancel (within 48-hr of your arrival), you will also forfeit the first-nite camping fee. In this same example, you would be refunded: $68-$8-$10-$30 = $20 net refund. Processing refunds is time-consuming & expensive for the facility, and we potentially will not refill your camping spot. This loses revenue for the facility due to your situation & circumstances changing. The Facility is NOT responsible for acts of God / weather / fire-restrictions / smoke / or other things outside the control of the facility. Thanks for your understanding.
