Nice, big camping spots near the lake. Cold plunging felt amazing.

Great spot. Nights are cool, even in the summer. Rented paddle boards that were a lot of fun but very expensive. Lots of trees and plants separating out campsite from the others. Lake water is really clear.

We had multiple strangers using our group camp out bathroom all throughout the night up until the wee hours in the morning – 2 AM even.
Stuff was getting stolen from bathrooms. There needs to be large signs telling everybody to stay out of the group camp out bathrooms if they are not part of the group.
Likewise, another group actually decided to drive into our camp and park behind the gated parking lot and we had to have a few very awkward conversations with them, trying to get them to leave.
To make matters worse, the one portion of the lake that is reserved for the group camp out had multiple people who had their stuff already set out so the lake right below the group camp out, which should’ve been reserved for our group, had numerous strangers walking in and out of it the whole time and through our site. This is not the type of group camp outside that you would want if you want any type of privacy while camping. I’ve never had any experience like this in the last time we booked it it was not like this. One of the worst experiences that we’ve ever had.

Did lots of biking on trails for the adults and around the camp for the little ones.

A truly special place. We have been coming annually with 6 families for the past 8 years. The campsites are quite large, the lake is lovely, and the Lodge at Lake of the Woods provides a place to take a needed break.

LOW staff are awesome. Everyone was friendly and available to help. Facilities were well maintained. Truly, one of my favorite places to visit

Space 40 was across the road from lakeside. Large site with two fire pits. Plenty of room for two families. Close enough to restroom/shower facility without it being noticeable. I think this is one of the best spots in the park for those looking for close walk to the lake's edge. We were able to paddle to the lodge from site for breakfast and back.

The hosts were the nicest I have ever encountered. The campground was great.
