Beautiful lake, but campground is run-down and desperately needs some capital improvements. Bathrooms (including showers) were inoperable or in various stages of disrepair. Individual sites need minor maintenance as well-ie, repair/replace picnic tables, low-profile fire rings.

We had a great time. Sit#27. Was perfect. Close to the water. Close to the bathrooms. Great view. Floor was level for our tents. Will be back.

Usually we have a great time and other campers are mostly polite and follow the rules. The first night our neighbors were up till 3am. The second night the same neighbor had a yelling spousal fight. The third night the neighbors were kicked out and their relatives moved in; that night was quiet. The fourth night the neighbor's alcoholic brother was there and had a fist fight with the campers. The hosts can only do so much. I was told later to talk to George at the resort about it.

The weather was phenomenal and the camp hosts were amazing. The restaurant has an attentive and friendly staff, with an excellent and a warm environment. Plenty of trails around the lake for some scenic hiking, a wonderful lake for swimming, weekends have music and movie nights and both the store and marina offer great alternatives for treats and memorabilia. As always, all the staff you will encounter are awesome. Nearby be sure to check out the wonder of what is “Crater Lake.” Overall, a hidden gem and one of the most fantastic places to make camping memories.

Bathrooms were not cleaned consistently. Had a very strong nasty smell the whole weekend.

Aspen point is a nice campground. The lake is beautiful. There are a lot of boats although out on the lake so wrapped kayaking isn’t the best place for that. The lodge offers a lot of activities.
