This is a very serene setting with ample space between campsites. The toilets are clean and easily accessible. If you are tent camping, there are sites that are right down near the lake. And speaking of the lake, it is quite gorgeous, especially with Mount McLoughlin in the distance. There is a camp host in the campground and the nearby resort offers great food, including pizza.
One thing that I typically find at campsites is the noise level continues far beyond the "quiet time". This campsite is no different, but I accept that, as people are there to unwind and have fun. Earplugs enabled me to get through the noise, even though I was awakened at 2 AM to someone hooping and hollering.
This is the third time I have stayed at Lake of the Woods and it certainly won't be my last.

One of the most beautiful campgrounds I have been to! We snagged a spot close to the lake and it was a great decision. Site was flat enough to be comfortable in our tent. We will be back next summer for more than one night!

I love Aspen Point at Lake of the Woods. Marty and her husband are great camp hosts. I just wish the forestry service would maintain the dead trees, campsites ( so dusty) and update the bathrooms. We had a tree fall right behind our campsite, luckily no one was hurt or affected (could have been worse).

The hosts were the nicest I have ever encountered. The campground was great.

Space 40 was across the road from lakeside. Large site with two fire pits. Plenty of room for two families. Close enough to restroom/shower facility without it being noticeable. I think this is one of the best spots in the park for those looking for close walk to the lake's edge. We were able to paddle to the lodge from site for breakfast and back.

LOW staff are awesome. Everyone was friendly and available to help. Facilities were well maintained. Truly, one of my favorite places to visit

A truly special place. We have been coming annually with 6 families for the past 8 years. The campsites are quite large, the lake is lovely, and the Lodge at Lake of the Woods provides a place to take a needed break.

Did lots of biking on trails for the adults and around the camp for the little ones.
