The campground, Sunset-Lake of the Woods in a wonderful setting. Beside a beautiful lake the campground has spacious sites nestled among tall Douglas fir trees with convenient walking paths along the lake. I highly recommend a stay at this charming campground.

We had a wonderful time, and really enjoyed the view of Mt McLoughlin from the lakeshore! The campground was well maintained!

We've been going to Sunset Campground for several years. It is one of our favorite campgrounds. The lake is beautiful.

My two grandsons, their dad & I love camping here. They can ride their bikes, skip rocks on the lake, go swimming & enjoy S'mores by a campfire. The store at the resort is convenient & we rented a boat & went fishing. They enjoy camping here each year just before school starts. It' a true treat for all of us.

First of all, it’s the best campsite there… I don’t know how we lucked out but it’s so close to the water and very large. We had three tents and two cars. Also making the arrangement I did it on the phone… Kind of last minute, and unfortunately, I do not have the person‘s name but she was , very helpful…

This is a well maintained and beautiful spot. The campsites are all close to the clear water natural mountain lake. The resort with restaurant is a few minutes drive away if you end up soaking wet one night and want to have an indoor breakfast :)

Overall great but only one stall worked in women’s restroom and they were not cleaned daily. I also wish hot water was available in the restrooms and that the tables were not so far from the RV/trailer parking site.

Nice big spots near the lake. Clean and lucky for us, it was quiet for our two days.
