What Guests Are Saying
Aspen Point at Lake of the Woods offers a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious, private sites, excellent lake access, and friendly hosts. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity for outdoor activities, such as biking and kayaking. However, there are consistent complaints about the outdated and poorly maintained restroom facilities, as well as noise issues during peak times, which detracts from the overall experience.

I had never heard of this place before but it seemed like a good midway point to the Columbia George. I thought it was an excellent campground and plan to come back. Nice well spaced big spots and many of them quite private. The day use area but the water was really sweet. I loved that we could easily take our bikes to the resort nearby and listen to music and get food if we wanted to. Or not and stay secluded from other people. We also enjoyed the loved multi use trail. Highly recommended.

Beautiful setting. Well kept natural sites. Just wish the leash law would be enforced. Too many encounters off leash.

A favorite place to visit! The camp hosts are exceptional and do a great job maintaining campsites and campers! Bathrooms need upgrade BADLY only 2 showers for 200+ campsites. Gut in them and refresh annually! Please🙏🏻

The campsite was fine. The restroom was horribly disgustingly filthy. The lake was beautiful.
I had camped the previous weekend at Humbug Mtn. Campground and the restrooms were pristine.
What a shocking contrast.

We had a nice two days at Aspen Point, The rest rooms have some age and could use updating. Our site, #7, was spacious. There is also a nice amount of space between #7 and the neighbor sites. While we were beside a stop sign on the camp road, people were driving slowly and it was pretty quiet. We accessed the day use area and put our kayaks in for a mostly pleasant paddling outing. There were some noisy and fast motor boats on the water. We would go back again.

We love LOW! The Hosts are amazing! The only complaint was the 7:00 a.m. generators running....sigh......
