What Guests Are Saying
Aspen Point at Lake of the Woods offers a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious, private sites, excellent lake access, and friendly hosts. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity for outdoor activities, such as biking and kayaking. However, there are consistent complaints about the outdated and poorly maintained restroom facilities, as well as noise issues during peak times, which detracts from the overall experience.

Park staff was extremely rude. We left the park for the day and it was extremely difficult to get back into the campground due to park staff.

What a beautiful spot! Our site was huge and right next to the lake. We also loved being so close to the resort with its restaurant and live music.

Beautiful area and great lake access. My only complaint is about the bathrooms. They are not cleaned frequently enough and ran out of toilet paper more than once during our 5 day trip.

Great camping experience with trails to adventure on and a lodge close by to grab a meal when you want to spoil yourself. The lake is amazing.

What an amazing place! I would say that I wouldn't want too many people to find such a gem but it is pretty remote and I think most who frequent know all too well what a special place it is! The campground was awesome the Lake is gorgeous what else is there just the company you keep!

We have been coming over 43 years. I always find it peaceful and beautiful.
These passed several years I feel like the camp hosts don’t keep up on the bathrooms. They are not clean and one of the bathroom sinks have been broken for over 5 years.
This year when they did the clean up of the trees they didn’t clean up the debris which made it hard to pack and walk down to the lake.

Would give 5 stars if not for shower facility in need of repair and excessive dog barking.

Great site with a good view of the lake for being a second row back, and a pretty short walk to the bathroom if you aren't shy about walking between sites. Same with access to the shore. Great lake to swim, kayak, SUP etc. Be aware, people "claim" shore line space by leaving their ez ups and water toys out overnight. We didn't have trouble finding a spot but we were there at the start of the week, I imagine weekends get busier.

A very busy weekend, yes -- but, the bathrooms were the worst I've ever seen!
