What Guests Are Saying
North Santiam Park and Campground offers a pleasant camping experience with a clean bathroom, accessible facilities, and a lovely river for swimming and wading. The park is smaller, providing a cozy atmosphere, and the hosts are attentive, though some guests found them overly strict about check-out times. Overall, visitors appreciate the beautiful surroundings and the opportunity to relax under starry skies.

The River is next to the camping areas. There is a small area where someone put rocks around a very shallow part of the river next to the bank where kids could wade. There is a covered area with two electrical outlets and a counter top. The bathroom was clean and easy to reach. There is a handicap accessible campsite to use. I could probably push a stroller down the trails, unsure if a wheelchair would work??. The handicap accessible site is very easy to reach. There were people swimming and boating on the river. There are not a lot of campsites, but it was a very nice smaller park. One of the trails was closed off because they were making improvements. I would definitely go and visit again. The parking lot is a nice size for such a smaller park/campsite.

Camped 2 nights in September. It's a tried and true old favorite. Ron and Cathy are wonderful and the starry skies sooth the tangled mind.

Definitely a cute place to camp but my group definitely was quite bothered by the camp hosts. They were at our campsite at 11 on the dot telling us we had to be out because other people would be there (I’m still at the park at almost 4pm and no one is there still) then when we went to warm up some hotdogs at an empty campsite they came over and told us that we couldn’t because we didn’t reserve the spot and that someone would be there soon…. There’s still not. I’ve never been at a campsite where the hosts were so strict. Not to mention it’s Labor Day… no one is coming out to camp today… everyone who wanted to camp for the weekend is already out or been out.

Great park, camping available plenty of spots. Plenty of room for activities and you can fish. The water is shallow enough to let the kids play, iit does have bigger rounds rocks on the bed so you'd have to keep shoes on. Good tails to walk on

I love this little park. It's quiet has a ton of parking, clean bathrooms lots of picnic tables open to the public (for free) there's a couple of campsites (pay) awesome river access, trails and a large covered area. Unfortunately, and this kills me it caught on fire about a month ago and isn't open yet. I don't know the extent of the damage but i know that access is denied into the park at this time. So be patient and when it does reopen check it out
