Fishermen's Bend is our all-time Oregon favorite campground. We HAD a reservation for last September, but could not go because our reservation was cancelled due to the raging forest fires in the area. Even if the reservation weren't cancelled, we could not have driven to the campground as the roads were closed to get there.!! Were we charged for the reservation we could not use? This request for a review concerns me that Recreaction.gov. has incorrect or outdated information. Right and Left hands out of touch?! This email does not inspire confidence in your website. I would love to make a new reservation for this spring, have tried, and was told they were not accepting reservations. What the heck?

We can't wait for the rebuild, so sad about the fires.

Due to Pine Bette prediction many trees have been fallen. Very hot and no shade.

With the fires 30 miles away and smoke and ash coming down, Camp Host told me it was up to me if i wanted to stay or not. I paid $92 for my 3 nights. I was there 3 hours on 9/7 and then left. The next morning the campsite was closed. I only received a refund of $28. I think it could have been handled more professional. The campground itself has no privacy between sites and the entire park is full of dead trees and bushes. One match and that whole campground would go up. That is why i packed up and left - one ash coming from the Detroit fire and poof. I don't know if its true, but i heard Mill City burned as well as Fishermens Bend.

We had a great time at Fishermens bend. The river is beautiful, but cold. The facilities are clean and well organized. The camp host was super helpful and kind. We enjoyed the many paved roads and trails to ride bikes on as well as the sand volleyball court and rec field. We will definitely be back.

The site was everything we wanted. Private and right on the river. The campground was well maintained and the bathrooms very clean! The kiddos loved the basketball courts & walking trails. We will be back!

Well maintained and clean campsite. Beautiful space for bike riding or walking. The river current is strong so not a good place for swimming but more for dipping your feet in the little pool areas.

Discovered this site while looking for a place to spend one evening when driving through. We loved it. Quiet and peaceful, camp hosts check the grounds and close the gates. Feels safe and clean. I’d love to come back here and start an annual trip.

Verrrry friendly staff. Camp site was good. River was a little disappointing since only a few spots to enjoy it while trying to avoid covid.

Site we were in was clean and had privacy.
There are hiking trails that will take you to the river and view some awesome homes and few wading pools. Fly fishing is best on the river.
We love Fishermen's Bend & I rate it 5 stars.
