Fishermens Bend

Okay so here’s the deal. The grounds were beautiful!! Absolutely seemed to be kept clean. Hosts were really nice. However, we left two days early. The flies in the spirit we were in were absolutely horrible!! We really tried to make it work and tried to not let it get to us but at one point I counted 10 that were on my Infant son and around him plus the TONS that were swarming our picnic table and ez-up and us in general. Then we get on the subject of the bee!! Huge HUGE bee. We watched it attacking and killing all the bugs and bees under our canopy. The site we were in was rancid smelling. We pulled up and all we smelled was sewage. Again beautiful campground and wonderful hosts but some major issues with the spot we were in.

Love this place, lots of walking, near the river and fun.

Nice campground but no areas for safe swimming. Other than that it was nice, quiet and beautiful!

Lovely campground, our site was next to the roaring river with plenty of room to the next site over. Host was friendly and informative. Restrooms clean and well maintained. We had never come before, but hope to return soon!

This place is amazing! The rangers are on top of it and super nice. Clean bathrooms!!!

Well developed campsite with lots of amenities. Great access to the river for floating and fishing.

We had a reservation for three nights. On the last night the power and water went out due to a downed tree and fire. We were evacuated and did not stay the last night. The hosts did and excellent job getting us out safely. I cannot wait to go back.

Beautiful campsite and well maintained. A family-friendly type of place and great spot to chill.

The staff is the best. They’re so hospitable, You can see the pride.

the campground was clean, bathrooms freshly painted. while there were a few restrictions due to Covid, such as no showers, they will be temporary.
