Everything about the campsite was great, we especially appreciated that there were some newly replaced tables since the last time we’d been there! (Unfortunately they haven’t replaced all of them, and one even broke while we were there.)

However, we were very frustrated because staff showed up a few times to do work on the bathrooms, including literally closing one (of only two) of the toilets on Friday/Saturday/Sunday so they could repaint it. Was it really necessary to repaint the bathroom on a Friday when there was a group of 30+ people there, and leave us with only one bathroom??

Mossy old growth fir and cedar, private campsites, crystal clear Horse Creek, generous group meet-up area. What’s not to love?
Well OK, some of the picnic tables are starting to rot. But overall — what a gorgeous campground!
