What Guests Are Saying
Mckenzie Bridge campground offers a beautiful and quiet location with private sites, many near the river, making it a popular choice for repeat visitors. Guests appreciate the lovely natural surroundings, shade from trees, and nearby hiking opportunities. However, some have noted issues with site proximity, restroom cleanliness, and a frustrating check-in experience, particularly regarding reservation management and interactions with other campers.

Not great for kids. Nails all over the site we were in. Looks like it was previously set up as a homeless camp. Not our jam but thankful we were only here for one night.

Nice quit campground. The spots are fairly isolated from each other, so that’s nice.

The campground is really lovely, small, quiet. I was surprised by a lack of other campers. Many of the sites are very near the River, and the trees are beautiful. We actually already made a reservation to go back.

The campground overall is lovely! Lots of hiking nearby and close enough to Sisters for a day trip. However site #7 has no access to the water and is very open to the sites next to it. If you are booking site 7 and 6 together though it would make a nice group camp. I would not recommend site 7 for anything other than a tent, a trailer will not fit.

The campsites at Mckenzie Bridge were lovely... especially #8. The shade from the big trees made it extremely pleasant on the hot days. I wish I knew that #7 (which we booked) and #6 (which we didn't) were completely open to one another. My only complaint is the bathrooms. It's disgusting they don't have hand sanitizer in the restrooms. That, and they could have a solar cell to on the roof to have a faint light in the bathrooms rather than it be completely without illumination. Anyway, lovely location.

My wife and I spent four fantastic days a McKenzie Bridge. We were in site #19. It's near the boat ramp, but no motorized boats are allowed so there was no engine noise. The site was reasonably level and large enough for our 27 foot motorhome and extra vehicle. There was more shade than sun, but enough sun for our solar panels to fully charge the batteries. Many of the sites, including ours, had a path to the river. We took in a great rafting trip down the river with Ouzel Outfitters. You meet them at the Paradise campground - about 5 miles down highway 126. I only wish that you could access the hiking trailheads directly from the campground, but it wasn't a big deal - only a few miles down 126. We look forward to visiting this campground again next year.
